Pumpkin Spice Simple Syrup using Coconut Sugar

Updated: Jan 15, 2021

This is hands down the best and easiest pumpkin spice simple syrup I've ever made! And makes simply the most delicious at-home pumpkin spice latte!

I like to use coconut sugar because it has a lower glycemic index than regular white sugar, plus has some added minerals like iron and zinc. It just makes for an overall better alternative to white sugar or brown sugar.

Pumpkin Spice Coconut Sugar Simple Syrup

Ingredients needed:

2 cups coconut sugar

1 cup water

1 tbsp pumpkin pie spice

To make:

  1. Bring 1 cup of water to a boil.

  2. Reduce to medium and add the 2 cups of coconut sugar.

  3. Stir to combine and add the tbsp of pumpkin pie spice.

  4. Stir frequently until the sugar is dissolved, about 3-5 minutes.

  5. Remove from the heat and let it cool completely.

  6. Store in a mason jar in the fridge for up to a couple months (though I'm sure it will go fast, mine does)!

  7. Enjoy in hot or iced coffee or espresso!

My favorite way to enjoy this simple syrup is in cold brew with oat milk. It is simply divine!!

I also created a downloadable sheet of printable tags! Click either the full sheet of labels to download the pdf or the single label (if you prefer to print multiples that way) to save and print!
